OnePlus Nord 2 existence confirmed accidentally on official website | 91mobiles.com

OnePlus Nord 2 launch is expected in June and the company could start officially teasing the device in the coming days. It seems OnePlus was in a hurry to confirm the phone’s existence as it “accidentally” mentioned the OnePlus Nord 2 on its official website this week. As per a new report, the phone’s name was spotted alongside the OnePlus 8T, OnePlus 8 Pro, OnePlus Nord, and OnePlus 9 in the FAQ section of the Stadia Premiere edition promo taking place in the UK, Germany, and France. OnePlus Nord 2 launch date is yet to be revealed, but it looks like the phone is slated for a mid-June release. It is also expected to launch in India as it has received the BIS certification.

Android Police spotted the OnePlus Nord 2 listed alongside other OnePlus devices. This is the first time the company has mentioned the OnePlus Nord 2, which makes us believe that the phone is set for an imminent launch.

OnePlus Nord 2 specifications are still under wraps for now, but it seems certain that the phone will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset. Other specs may include a high refresh rate AMOLED display, fast charging support, and either a 48MP or 64MP quad-camera system. The OnePlus Nord 2 could launch next month in select markets, including India, alongside the OnePlus Nord CE 5G.

OnePlus Nord 2 India launch has been expected considering the company released the original Nord in the country. However, rumours about the OnePlus Nord CE 5G launching in India is surprising considering the phone succeeds the Nord N10 5G, which never released in India. It also suggests that the company is ready to expand its Nord portfolio in the country. Both OnePlus Nord CE 5G and OnePlus Nord 2 are expected to arrive with affordable mid-range price tags.
