OnePlus foldable launch: will feature flagship specs

OnePlus, via an official press release, has confirmed the launch of a foldable smartphone in the second half of 2023. In all likelihood, the brand will take the wraps off the device in Q3, 2023, as revealed earlier. The first foldable device by OnePlus is said to feature the signature OnePlus experience. The device won’t miss out on the core flagship aspects, just because of its folding form, says the company.

“Our first foldable phone will have the signature OnePlus fast and smooth experience. It must be a flagship phone that doesn’t settle because of its folding form, in terms of industrial design, mechanical technology, and other aspects. We want to launch a device that aims to be at the pinnacle experience of today’s foldable market.” said Kinder Liu, President, and COO of OnePlus at the event.

For now, we are not sure as to what the specifications and features of the device would be, but we can certainly expect the OnePlus V Fold to share some resemblance with the OPPO Find N2. Plus, rumours surrounding the brand’s first-ever clamshell foldable smartphone have also been popping up lately, so there are chances that we might get to see more than one foldable by OnePlus in the coming months.
