OnePlus Ace Pro smartphone with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset to launch on August 3 – Times of India

OnePlus is all set to launch its new Ace-series smartphones. The Chinese smartphone maker has confirmed that it will launch the new OnePlus Ace Pro smartphone in China on August 3. Various online reports claim that the OnePlus Ace Pro will be launched as the OnePlus 10T in the global market.
The leaks also suggest that OnePlus Ace Pro will not house a Hasselblad camera. The smartphone is expected to sport a similar rear design as the OnePlus 10 Pro, which the company launched earlier this year. The rear panel of the smartphone is said to be made of a single piece of glass with the camera module integrated into it. The company is said to launch two versions of the smartphone — one is the black version with the new AG process and the other version with a glossy finish.
The Chinese smartphone has confirmed that the OnePlus Ace Pro will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. The smartphone is also confirmed to sport a 50MP main camera with Optical (OIS) and Electronic (EIS) image stabilisation, an ultra-wide camera and a macro camera.
OnePlus Ace Pro expected specifications
OnePlus Ace Pro is said to feature a 6.7-inch full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10 support. The smartphone display is expected to be protected with a coating of Corning Gorilla Glass on top.
OnePlus Ace Pro is said to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The smartphone is expected to house a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP main sensor, 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and 2MP macro camera. On the other hand, the front is expected to come with a 16MP selfie camera.
OnePlus Ace Pro is likely to be backed by a 4800mAh battery with 150W fast charging support.
