The OnePlus 12 will most likely feature a triple camera setup at the rear. The primary camera will be a 50MP Sony IMX9xx 1/1.4-inch with OIS, according to the tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo. It will also house a 50MP ultra-wide angle lens and a 64MP OmniVision OV64B periscope camera with 3x optical zoom. A periscope lens would be a major upgrade for the upcoming OnePlus flagship. Like the previous phones, OnePlus 12 will also come with Hasselblad optics.

The latest leak is in line with what has been revealed so far about the OnePlus 12’s cameras. For selfies, the smartphone is expected to feature a 32MP front camera. As for the rest of its specifications, here’s what we know so far. 

OnePlus 12 rumoured specifications

  • Display: OnePlus 12 is expected to feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with 2K resolution, and a 120Hz refresh rate.
  • Processor: The smartphone will most likely be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC (the chipset is expected to be announced in October).
  • RAM and storage: OnePlus 12 could launch with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage.
  • Battery, charging: The smartphone is rumoured to pack a 5,400mAh battery with 100W wired charging, and 50W wireless charging support. 
  • Software: On the software front, it will most likely run Oxygen OS 14 based on the upcoming Android 14 OS.

OnePlus 12 rumoured launch timeline

OnePlus 12 will reportedly debut in China in December. The flagship’s global launch is slated to take place in February next year. OnePlus 12 is expected to arrive in India around the same time.
