Onam 2021: From Janhvi Kapoor To Vicky Kaushal, Take A Look At The Sadhyas These Stars Relished

Onam is the festival of harvest that is celebrated with much fervour. This 10-day long celebration is full of fun festivities like boat races, traditional dances, and play performances. However, most importantly, it is all about the food. And it looks like Bollywood stars Vicky Kaushal, Vicky Kaushal, Siddharth, and cricketer MS Dhoni’s wife, Sakshi, celebrated Onam with their families by relishing the rich flavours of traditional dishes. Many of them shared images of their Onam feasts on their social media handles, making us drool. In the photos, we could spot a number of popular dishes like sambar, avial, tamarind pickle, olan, red rice, and tiny bananas.

Actor Vicky Kaushal celebrated Onam with his friend, actress Malavika Mohanan, and her family. He enjoyed the delicious vegetarian dishes and posted pictures of the meal on Instagram Stories, tagging Malavika and thanking her for the tasty treat. He wrote in the caption alongside the drool-worthy picture, “Thank you for the amazing lunch.”

South Indian actor Siddharth shared a series of pictures on Instagram of his “divine sathvik sadhya”. Siddharth’s Onam spread included dishes like cabbage thoran, parippu (thick lentil curry), vendakka kichadi (okra cooked in a yogurt and coconut gravy), and decadent paal payasam (milk and rice pudding). The actor wrote in the caption, “Feeling positive, charged up and grateful. Good food ftw (for the win).”

Former India cricketer MS Dhoni’s wife, Sakshi, gave us a glimpse of her Onam celebrations by sharing a picture of the spread she enjoyed along with her daughter, Ziva. Sakshi wished her fans and followers and captioned the post, “Onam Ashamsakal”
