Nothing Phone 1 camera specifications and samples officially revealed – Times of India

Nothing is all-set to launch its first smartphone — Phone 1– on July 12. The handset is also confirmed to feature a dual rear camera setup. Now ahead of the official launch, the company has dropped some camera samples clicked using the Nothing Phone 1 along with the camera specifications.
Nothing has shared the camera samples via its official blog post mentioning “Phone (1) has just two cameras. Two superb ones. Not four mediocre ones.”

According to the blog post, the Nothing Phone 1 will come equipped with a 50MP 1/1.56-inch Sony IMX766 primary sensor with f/1.88 aperture. The primary sensor supports both OIS (Optical Image Stabilisation) and EIS (Electonic Image Stabilisation).
The second camera will be an ultra-wide sensor with a 114-degree field-of-view.
The company claims that the handset will support 10-bit colour in videos. This means the videos from Nothing Phone 1 is likely to offer 1 billion colours.
Apart from that, the smartphone will also come with Night Mode, automatic scene detection and more.

The blog post does not reveal any other details about the smartphone. However, the company has already confirmed that the handset will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 778 5G chipset, 120Hz refresh rate display and in-display fingerprint scanner.
