Nothing Ear (2) Black colour variant
Nothing launched the Ear (2) TWS in March this year. At the time of the launch, the company introduced the white colour variant of the device. But now the company has launched a new black colour variant of the same Nothing Ear (2) earbuds.
The black Nothing Ear (2) comes with a price tag of Rs 9,999 and it can be purchased online from Flipkart and offline from select retail stores starting July 21. The company has also revealed that the customers who pre-order the upcoming Nothing Phone (2) will get early access to the Nothing Ear (2) black variant.
Nothing Ear (2) features
The true wireless earbuds feature an 11mm custom driver, which is claimed to deliver powerful bass and improved overall sound quality. Ear (2) also features Dual Connection, which enables users to switch between two devices. The Ear (2) earbuds offer personalised Active Noise Cancellation that can conform to the contours of the user’s ear canal, as stated by the company. Additionally, these earbuds are Hi-Res Audio certified and incorporate LHDC 5.0 technology. The LHDC 5.0 codec technology guarantees the transmission of the most delicate sound nuances at an exceptional standard, delivering frequencies of up to 24 bit/192 kHz at speeds reaching up to 1 Mbps, as per the company’s claims.
Regarding battery life, the Ear (2) earbuds can provide up to 36 hours of music playback when fully charged using the charging case (without ANC activated). With fast charging, a mere 10-minute charge can offer up to 8 hours of usage. Furthermore, the Ear (2) earbuds support wireless charging at speeds of up to 2.5W and can also act as a power source to charge compatible devices, such as the Nothing Phone (1), through reverse charging.
Nothing X app update with two new features
The company has also updated the Nothing X app and has added two new features to it. The app gets advanced equaliser and noise reduction functionalities.
The advanced equaliser feature enables users to customise sound as per their liking. With its intuitive graphical interface, users can experience a high level of customization using an 8-band equalizer that provides real-time preview, complete Q factor adjustment, and frequency control.
On the other hand, the noise reduction feature is designed to block the background noise and offer an immersive audio experience. Users can easily access this functionality by navigating to the Settings section of the Nothing X app.
