Not only ThinkPad laptops, you can soon get to see a Motorola ThinkPhone – Smartprix Bytes
It seems like Lenovo is all set to baffle the industry, considering the new leaks regarding an upcoming phone. You have heard of the Lenovo Thinkpad laptop series multiple times, but have you ever thought, even in your wildest dreams, that we will get to see a ThinkPad smartphone in the future? Well, Lenovo is most probably planning to roll out a Lenovo ThinkPad smartphone series in the global market. Rumours regarding the same suggest that it will carry the moniker Motorola ThinkPhone.
The most amazing part is that in a report by The Tech Outlook, the specifications of the device have also been revealed. The smartphone’s logo will be based on the Thinkpad text that we have already seen on the laptops. The renders show that the device will get a square-shaped camera island at the top left corner consisting of three sensors and a flash. Moreover, the phone will have thin bezels all around with a punch-hole cutout for the placement of the front camera.
Motorola ThinkPhone rumoured specifications
The Motorola ThinkPhone may get a 6.6-inch pOLED display complemented with a 144Hz refresh rate. The device will get a faux carbon fiber body that may offer it a decent look. Rumours are that it will measure 158.7 x 74.4 x 8.3mm. The processor that will be used in the phone is still under wraps. However, we are expecting it to carry a powerful one with at least 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.
The Motorola ThinkPhone could sport a triple rear camera system including a 50MP primary shooter, 13MP ultra wide-angle shooter, and a 2MP depth shooter. On the front, we can get to see a 32MP snapper with an auto-focus feature for capturing selfies and attending video calls. In terms of battery, we can get to see a 5000mAh cell with 68W fast charging support.
Until now, only a limited amount of information is available regarding the Motorola ThinkPhone. We are expecting to know more as soon as it gets officially announced by the brand. Further, the spec sheet of the smartphone has not been validated through an official source. So, the readers are suggested to take the information with a pinch of salt.
