New POCO phone launch teased in India, could be POCO M6 Pro 5G

Recently, tipster Kacper Skrzypek claimed the Redmi Note 12R will be rebranded as POCO M6 Pro 5G in India. The handset was recently spotted on the IMEI database with the model number 23076PC4B1. While Himanshu Tandon hasn’t mentioned anything about the phone, there are speculations that it could be the Redmi Note 12R rebrand.

To recall the Redmi Note 12R specifications.

• Display: The Redmi Note 12R sports a 6.79-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display with flat edges, a 90Hz refresh rate, and a punch-hole cutout for the selfie shooter.
• Processor: The handset will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen2 paired with Adreno GPU for graphics.
• RAM and Storage: The handset packs up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage that is expandable via a microSD card.
• OS: The Redmi phone runs on Android 13-based MIUI 14 custom skin out of the box.
• Cameras: The Redmi phone will pack a 50MP primary camera and a 2MP secondary sensor. The front camera details are under wraps at the moment.
• Battery: 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
• Connectivity: 5G, dual SIM, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a USB Type-C port for charging and data connectivity.
