On PC, ray tracing can be toggled via the graphics menu. Meanwhile, you can toggle ray tracing settings from the game options menu on consoles. Bandai Namco has also said, “Please note that performance – such as frame rate and resolution – may be impacted while playing with Ray Tracing on.” The developer has shared new PC system requirements for ray tracing support, which are listed below:

- OS: Windows 10
- Processor: Intel Core i5-10600K/ AMD Ryzen 5 3600XT
- RAM 16GB RAM
- GPU: Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 Ti/ AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT
- Recommended graphics setting: 1080p (Low quality, Low ray tracing)

- OS: Windows 11
- Processor: Intel Core i7-10700K/ AMD Ryzen 7 3800XT
- RAM: 16 GB RAM
- GPU: Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 Ti/ AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT
- Recommended graphics setting: 1080p (High quality, High ray tracing)
The new Elden Ring update also brings several balance changes for PvP, which nerfs things like Founding Rain of Stars spell, Terra Magica spell, Wave of Gold skill, Determination and Royal Knight’s Resolve skills, and more. There are also many general balance adjustments as well as Ashes of War adjustments for Lifesteal Fist, Surge of Faith, Flame Spit, Tongues of Fire, Viper Bite, Great Oracular Bubble, and more.
