Neena Gupta attends a wedding with husband Vivek Mehra and BFF Soni Razdan, dances to Laila Main Laila

Actor Neena Gupta took to Instagram on Sunday to share few pictures from a wedding. She attended a wedding bash with her husband Vivek Mehra, actor Soni Razdan and other friends. Neena was glowing in a simple pink lehenga and her husband looked happy in a blue kurta pyjama. She was all smiles as she posed for the camera with her group of friends. Neena also danced to Laila Main Laila with friend RJ Simmi Sakhuja. Soni shared a picture with Neena and Anu Ranjan, and called it ‘gang.’ In the series of pictures, Neena decked up in pink net lehenga with halter neck blouse. She wore little jewellery to complete her look and tied her hair in a bun. Soni wore a white kurta with red flowers printed on it. She wore heavy earrings for the occasion. In the group picture, Neena stood next to her husband, and held a glass of wine along with other friends. In another picture, Simmi took a selfie, which featured Soni, Neena, Sameera Shukanata among others. Simmi called it ‘full house of friends.’ All of them flashed their radiant smiles for the camera.

Taking to Instagram Stories, Soni shared a happy group picture with Neena, and entrepreneur Anu from the party. She captioned the picture, “Gang (red heart emoji).” Simmi shared a dancing video with Neena. Both of them danced their hearts out to Laila Main Laila, and wrote, “Celebrating Sameera and Eric (two pink heart emojis).”

Neena got married to Vivek Mehra in 2008. She is the mother of actor and fashion designer Masaba Gupta. Talking about settling down with her now husband Vivek Mehra, Neena told Humans of Bombay last year, “I have some connection with planes. I met him in the plane. Yes, that was a very nice phase. It was difficult because he was already married with two children. It was a tough time for me, very very tough time. Nikal gaya (that time has passed).”

Neena was last seen in the psychological thriller Vadh. It was written and directed by Rajeev Barnwal and Jaspal Singh Sandhu. The film hit the theatres on December 9, 2022. She also played a pivotal role in Sooraj Barjatya’s Uunchai, which also had Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher and Boman Irani among the lead cast. She will now be seen opposite Anupam Kher in Shiv Shastri Balboa.
