Pizza is the ultimate food for the hungry soul. If you can lay your hands on a great pizza with oodles of cheese, tangy sauce and enticing toppings, you get more bang for your bite. In search of the perfect pizza, we often end up in confusion as there is a host of options in Delhi and all seem equally good. We, at NDTV Food, decided to end this conundrum and reviewed pizzas from all over the city and its neighouring areas to pick the best ones. We invited several prominent restaurants from Delhi-NCR to participate in the ‘BIG PIZZA REVIEW’ and all their pizzas were adjudged against major parameters that make a pizza the wholesome dish that it is. Here’s what we found.
NDTV FOOD BIG PIZZA REVIEW WINNERS:
Almost all the reviewers voted for non-vegetarian pizzas by Social, Nomad and Gorillaz Pizzeria as the best ones. Andrea Eatery and Smoke House Deli won our hearts and the title in the veg category.
Pizzas with the best base:
Besides these winners, we received some really delicious pizzas that stood out. We loved the base of the pizzas by Chatter House restaurant. It was light, smoky and made the pizza whole. The pizzas by Nomad and Social were also liked for their palatable bases.

Pizzas with high satiety level:
We were looking for that one pizza that could fill us up in an instant when our stomachs were growling. Chicago pizza did it for us, and the fact that it also tasted nice was enough for us to vote for it.
Pizzas that were oh-so-fresh:
Whenever we order pizza home, the freshness somewhat wanes, and we all know that. But the pizzas by Barbeque Nation and Baking Bad maintained it by the time we tasted them and it took us by surprise.
Pizzas that topped our list with their toppings:
The toppings of a pizza are everything. It’s the most important element of a pizza and we found the ones that aced it. Our reviewers kept raving about the flavourful toppings on the veg pizza by Andrea Eatery and non-veg pizza by Gorillaz Pizzeria.
Pizza that made us fall in love at first sight:
The first look and we were bowled over by the heart-shaped pizzas by Xero Degrees. They looked so beautiful that we couldn’t wait to dig in.
