“We are thrilled to welcome the Tesseron family to the Folio portfolio,” said Tim Norris, CEO of Folio Fine Wine Partners. “Pym-Rae Tesseron Estate is one of the most exciting Napa Valley producers, and since the first vintage in 2016, has quickly established itself as a highly sought-after wine among serious wine collectors and buyers. We are confident that our partnership will help to further elevate the brand and look forward to working with the Tesseron family to drive their long-term success.”
Pym-Rae Tesseron Estate was founded in 2016 by the Tesseron family, whose interests also include Tesseron Cognac and Bordeaux’s Château Pontet-Canet. This altitude vineyard was planted more than thirty years ago by its previous owner, the late Robin Williams, to Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc, varieties the family mastered through their fifty years of ownership of Pontet-Canet.
Grown with organic, biodynamic, and dry farming methods on the rocky hillsides of Mount Veeder, Pym-Rae is a Bordeaux blend of 76% Cabernet Sauvignon, 17% Merlot and 7% Cabernet Franc. Made by winemaker Jérôme Ledit in consultancy with Michel Rolland, the wine is an expression of 30 year-old-vines, planted across 18.5 acres, from three grape varieties, two vineyard blocks and expressed in a singular wine.
Pym-Rae is available nationally through fine wine retailers and restaurants. For further details, please contact Sofia Mendez-Nunez at smendeznunez@foliowine.com
