Ubisoft has confirmed that it will reveal Assassin’s Creed Mirage at the Ubisoft Forward event. The game is expected to be set in the Middle East including Baghdad and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s Basim will be the protagonist. Mirage could be a much smaller game compared to the previous titles, and it may be more stealth-focused like older Assassin’s Creed games. The game was originally supposed to be an expansion for Valhalla but got turned into a standalone title sometime last year. Assassin’s Creed Mirage is also expected to get a post-launch DLC called The Forty Thieves Quest, which will most likely be based on the Arabic folk story of Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves. Ubisoft will reveal more details about Assassin’s Creed Mirage and other games during Ubisoft Forward on September 11 at 12:30 AM IST. Ubisoft Forward will be livestreamed on YouTube and Twitch.
