Moto Razr 2022 price, Europe launch tipped: how it compares to Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 price
It remains to be seen how the Moto Razr (2022) would fare in Europe but as things stand, Motorola appears to have missed a good chance to take on Samsung in the foldable segment.
Motorola Razr 2022 specifications
The Moto Razr (2022) comes with a 6.7-inch pOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a screen that folds in half in the middle. There is a 2.7-inch cover display that can surface notifications and other simple content. The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 SoC paired with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. It runs on Android 12 OS out of the box.
The Moto Razr (2022) packs a 3,500mAh battery with 25W fast-charging support. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and USB Type-C port for charging and data sync. Moving to optics, the Moto Razr (2022) has dual cameras on the back, with a 50MP primary sensor and a 13MP secondary lens. There is a 32MP shooter on the front for selfies and video chats.
The Moto Razr (2022) gets a major redesign this time and it doesn’t look anything like the first foldable Razr model from 2019 nor it resembles the Razr V3 flip phone. The phone has a few shortcomings when compared to the Galaxy Flip 4. It doesn’t come with water resistance, an armour aluminium frame or UTG (Ultra-Thin Glass). The OS also come close to OneUI 4.1 with regard to customisation and features. In a way, the Moto Razr (2022) doesn’t have a lot going on for itself to justify the premium price.
