Moto Edge 40 Pro debuts with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC – Smartprix
Motorola has recently launched the Moto Edge 40 Pro, and the device has already grabbed all the eyeballs with its high-end features and specifications. The smartphone has a curved display with super thin bezels. As of now, the device is only available in the European and Latin American markets. At the front of the device, one can also spot a small punch hole cutout for the placement of the front snapper.
As for the back, the Motorola logo can be seen in the mid and the square-shaped camera module is at the top left. The camera island consists of three sensors and a flash. Talking about the pricing, the 12GB RAM variant of Moto Edge 40 Pro with 256GB internal storage is available in the European markets for a price of EUR 899, which converts to around Rs 81,000. It is also expected that the smartphone will be launched somewhere around the price point of Rs 75,000 in India.

The Moto Edge 40 Pro ships with a 6.67-inch pOLED display complemented with a whopping 165Hz refresh rate. The device also has an FHD+ resolution along with HDR10+ support. It works on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor paired with 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB UFS 4.0 internal storage. The device operates on MyUX 4.0 based on the Android 13 operating system.
In terms of optics, the Moto Edge 40 Pro sports a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP primary shooter with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), a 50MP ultra wide-angle shooter, and a 12MP telephoto shooter. For capturing amazing selfie shots and attending video calls, the handset also gets a 60MP front sensor. It draws power from a 4,600mAh battery that supports 125W fast charging. It also supports 8W reverse wireless charging, which is something unique. For security purposes, the smartphone comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor.
