Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2023: What to expect from the brands participating in the event – Smartprix

Mobile World Congress (MWC) Barcelona will be the world’s largest and most influential event for the connectivity industry. It is an annual trade show organized by GSMA dedicated primarily to the mobile communications industry. This year, the event will take place from 27^th February to 2^nd March. Have a look at what your favorite smartphone brands will showcase during the MWC 2023.

1. Samsung at MWC 2023

Samsung mostly launches its flagship line-up before the MWC and this year too, the brand is launching Galaxy S23 Series on February 1. This time Galaxy Book Series is also expected to launch alongside the Galaxy S23 Series, so MWC 2023 might see announcements related to other products like wearables and more for Samsung.

2. Huawei at MWC 2023

Huawei has confirmed that 2023 will be a big year for the brand at MWC 2023. The brand will take the entirety of hall 1 and considering it launched MateBook E 2-in-1, MateBook X Pro, and MatePad Paper e-reader in 2022, the successors for the same can be expected from MWC 2023.

3. OnePlus at MWC 2023

While 2022 saw the announcement of the OnePlus 10 Pro, the same can’t be expected this year as OnePlus 11 is launching on 7th February. OnePlus is rumored to reveal a brand new concept phone dubbed Concept 2 at MWC.

4. Realme at MWC 2023

Earlier there was news that Realme will launch the GT Neo 5 smartphone with 240W fast charging during the MWC 20223. However, now the device is being launched on the 9^th of February so the wait continues to know what Realme will showcase during the MWC 2023.

5. Xiaomi at MWC 2023

Speculations are rife that Xiaomi will have an exciting MWC 2023. Xiaomi 13 Series is expected to be showcased during the MWC 2023. The series will include Xiaomi 13, Xiaomi 13 Ultra, and Xiaomi 13S. Xiaomi Pad 6 and Pad 6 Pro might also see the light of day.

6. Motorola at MWC 2023

While Moto has been tight-lipped about its plans for the MWC 2023, the brand is expected to launch the Edge 40 Pro smartphone during Congress.

7. Honor at MWC 2023

Honor has teased the global launch of its foldable as one of its MWC 2023 highlights. Honor Magic Vs will be showcased during the upcoming event. It will weigh 261 grams, have OLED displays, a large battery, Snapdragon 8+ gen 1 chipset, and a triple camera setup. It will come in cyan, orange, and black colors.

8. Oppo at MWC 2023

While Oppo launched Find X5 and Find X5 Pro during the MWC 2023, this year the brand might unveil the Oppo Find N and Find N2 Flip devices. The Oppo Find N2 Flip is expected to be a serious competitor to Samsung’s clamshell foldable in the west.

9 Tecno at MWC 2023

Tecno has confirmed its participation at the MWC 2023. The brand will unveil its newest flagship product under its premium sub-brand PHANTOM. Tecno will also bring its all-star product series range of smartphones and AIoT ecosystem upgrades for visitors.

Like last year, Sony will not be a part of the MWC 2023.
