Mindy Kaling Replicates The Bear’s Spaghetti Recipe, Its Everything Yummy
Mindy Kaling is taking us to the Chicago food scene with her latest Instagram post. And we are all in for those yummy-looking Spaghetti. Mindy wore the chef’s hat after getting some inspiration from the American TV show, The Bear. The actress, who is standing behind a cooking platform, has narrated how in one of the episodes the lead of the show cooks a platter of spaghetti in remembrance of his younger brother. Mindy added that the spaghetti in the show looked delicious that she decided to prepare it at home. Going by Mindy’s post, the ingredients you need to prepare The Bear-inspired spaghetti include oil, garlic, chilli flakes, fresh basils, white onion, butter, tomato puree, greens, and of course a packet of spaghetti noodles. The actress even tasted the final result – a bowl of yumilicious spaghetti – and she appeared to be loving it. “Immersing myself in the Chicago food scene, courtesy of The Bear. Thank you, Chef,” Mindy wrote in the caption.

Has Mindy Kaling’s spaghetti left you craving? It’s time to get in the kitchen and cook yourself a bowl of this delicious pasta. Here is a recipe for Spaghetti Bolognese, which will leave a lingering taste of red wine on your palette.
Ingredients:
Olive oil – 2 Tbsp
Onions (chopped) – 2
Garlic (chopped) – 1/2
Lamb/chicken (minced) 1 kg
Red pepper- ½ tsp
Tomatoes (chopped) – 4-5
Tomato puree – 1 cup
Bay leaves (dried) – 2
Thyme – 1 tbsp

Oregano (dried) – 1 tbsp
Salt – 1 tsp
Black pepper – ½ tsp
Red wine – 1 cup
Spaghetti (cooked), boiled – 500 g
Method:
Step 1: Heat some oil in the pan, and throw in some garlic and onion. Fry it well.
Step 2: Add the minced meat and some red pepper. Make sure the meat turns brown as this indicates that it is properly cooked.
Step 3: Add chopped tomatoes as well as the tomato puree.
Step 4: Time for some herbs. Add bay leaves, oregano, and thyme to the mix. Sprinkle salt and pepper as per taste.
Step 6: Pour some red wine and mix all the ingredients. Place the lid and allow it to cook for 15-20 minutes
Step 7: Once the Bolognese sauce is ready, put it over the spaghetti.
Step 8: Garnish it with cheese and voila, it’s ready to be served.
