Huntt allowed four runs — three in the first two innings — on nine hits over 7-2/3 innings. He struck out eight batters en route to improving to 8-4 on the season.

Seven different Lions provided multi-hit games to help Freed-Hardeman outhit the Wildcats (18-23) 16-9. Kent Rooklin led the charge with three hits while William Kelley, Ryan Stark, and Mason Libla all drove home two runs each.
