BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The 2022 Mid-South Conference Baseball Champions of Character Team has been released, conference officials announced on Wednesday.
The MSC recognizes a Champions of Character Team for each championship sport. The student-athletes that are honored on the Champions of Character Team were nominated by their coaches based on their leadership on campus and in the community while demonstrating the five core character values of the NAIA.
Bethel’s (Tenn.) Jacob Foster, Campbellsville’s (Ky.) Grant McQueary, Cumberland’s (Tenn.) Corey Perkins, Cumberlands’ (Ky.) Garrett DeClue, Freed-Hardeman’s (Tenn.) Connor Creasy, Georgetown’s (Ky.) Kyo Arita, Lindsey Wilson’s (Ky.) Thorne Gray, Pikeville’s (Ky.) Austin Wetherington, Shawnee State’s (Ohio) Javier Santiago, Tennessee Southern’s Michael Wurtz and Thomas More’s (Ky.) Casey Nowak were all honored with the recognition.
