Microsoft Windows 365 Cloud PC is now open for Business and Enterprise customers – Times of India
Microsoft, as promised, opened Windows 365 Cloud PC for businesses and enterprises. Giving them the option to stream Windows 10 or Windows 11 (upon launch) on their device and get into the hybrid work environment.
The service was announced last month and the new Windows 365 cloud PC puts the operating system on cloud and allows users to stream it from anywhere in the world using a web browser on any device running macOS, iOS, iPadOS, Android and Windows.
As the service has gone live, Microsoft has also released all the configurations and subscription plans for Windows 365. For starters, the company has currently announced the monthly subscription plans that means businesses will be billed on the monthly basis. Also, the price of the subscription is completely based on the system configuration.
Until today, we only know one pricing of $31 that Microsoft revealed during a demo presentation. This plan offers two CPUs, 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
The plans are distributed into two categories — Business and Enterprise. The Business plans are further divided into two categories — with Hybrid benefits and without hybrid benefits.
For example, the cheapest plan with hybrid benefits costs $20 users/month, but without hybrid benefits it will cost $24 user/month.
What is Hybrid benefit and who all are eligible
According to the support page of Windows 365, the Hybrid benefit basically helps users save on licensing fees. If you already have a Windows 10 Pro license then you are eligible for Hybrid benefit and entitled to receive a discount of 16% on subscription plans.
