Royal Enfield Classic 350

The masthead of sturdy Indian bikes has been held by Royal Enfield, and now it’s ready to enter the Electric Vehicle (EV) market. Royal Enfield will give direct competition to EV brands such as Revolt and UltraViolette. The bike is codenamed Electrik01.

Being in its Quality Function Development (QFD) concept; the first look of Electrik01 shows that the manufacturer is not letting go of its retro muscle bikes’ USP. The first look indicates that the bike might have a tear-drop tank and classic girder fork suspension in its design. Now, the suspension might seem a little too retro, considering the adaptability to Indian roads. As we all know, traditional telescopic suspension works better. But being still in QFD gives Royal Enfield the benefit of doubt whether this design will reach the production journey or not.

The design includes round headlights, twin tube chassis, and the conventional fuel tank, which might be used as a prop for holding battery packs. It surely revives the memory of Royal Enfield, which made its mark in bike designs. The manufacturer is surely taking time to know the game of fame and to live up to their name. The bike may undergo some design changes in the next period.

When will we get to see Electrik01 on road?

Royal Enfield Meteor 350

With a shift from typical Internal Combustion Engine bikes to the domain of Electric Vehicles with many competitors waiting ahead, Royal Enfield is going to wait for perfection. Finalizing every little piece from design to engine will delay our wait a lot longer before even road tests begin. But the moment it arrives, Royal Enfield will surely shake down the EV market because that’s what Royal Enfield does.
