MediaTek has been on a launching spree, as in the past, we got to see multiple processors making their way to the industry. In a recent development, the company has released the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset, and it will hit the market by December 1. As of now, MediaTek has published a poster for the announcement of its latest processor. According to the poster, the SoC will focus more on conserving energy.

The chipset will come with the same 4x Cortex-A78 and 4x Cortex-A55 cores with different configurations at higher clock speeds. The A78 will have two different clusters, including 1x Cortex-A78 clocked at 3.1GHz and 3x Cortex-A78 clocked at 3.0GHz. The other four efficiency Cortex-A55 cores will remain at 2.0GHz. As said by Digital Chat Station, the processors scored 900,000 points on AnTuTu.

Which device will first get the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC?

Until now, there has been no official confirmation regarding a smartphone that will ship with the Dimensity 8200 processor. Nevertheless, iQOO Neo 7 SE is all set to hit the market with the Dimensity 8200 processor. The device will make its debut in China first on December 2, which will probably be followed by the India launch.

Talking about the iQOO Neo 7, it could come with a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display complemented with a 120Hz refresh rate. The device will draw power from a 5000mAh battery that will come with support for 120W fast charging. It may get two RAM variants, including 8GB RAM and 12GB RAM paired with storage around 128GB, 256GB, or 512 GB. The device will flaunt a triple rear camera system, including a 50MP primary shooter with OIS, an 8MP secondary shooter, and a 2MP secondary shooter. At the front, we can get to see a 16MP snapper for selfies and video calls. High chances are that it will get an in-display fingerprint scanner for security purposes.
