Masaba Gupta gets kiss from stepdad Vivek Mehra, hug from Sonam in wedding bash pics; dad Vivian Richards also seen

Designer-actor Masaba Gupta has shared a bunch of unseen pictures giving a glimpse inside her wedding festivities. Taking to Instagram on Monday, Masaba posted photos in which she got hugged by her family and friends. They too hugged each other. In a few pictures, Masaba laughed as her friends hugged her. Actor Sonam Kapoor, in a black and white outfit, smiled as she gave Masaba a hug. She was seen laughing as Karan Boolani held her in a photo. Masaba’s stepfather Vivek Mehra held her tight in a picture and gave her a kiss on her head as she hugged him back.

One of the pictures featured Masaba’s mother-in-law Nalini Misra Tyabji hugging actor Konkona Sensharma. While Nalini draped a green and blue saree, Konkona opted for a black outfit. Konkona was also hugged by producer Rhea Kapoor.

Masaba’s husband, actor Satyadeep Misra, was seen hugging a person in a monochrome picture. The last picture featured Masaba’s step-father, West Indies cricket legend Vivian Richards smiling as he held cricketer Ajay Jadeja.

Masaba captioned the post, “The one where everyone hugs! Part 1! (laughing, red heart, black heart, purple heart, yellow heart, green heart, orange heart, and brown heart emojis).” Lakshmi Manchu commented, “My fav lot of pics.” Konkona said, “Soooo much happiness.” Zoya Akhtar wrote, “Sending you a big one (hug emoji).” Karishma Boolani posted red heart emojis.

Masaba last month tied the knot with Satyadeep. The couple had an intimate marriage ceremony, attended by their close family members, on January 27. On Instagram, she shared a bunch of pictures and announced the news.

She wrote, “Married my ocean of calm, this morning. Here’s to many many lifetimes of love, peace, stability & most importantly laughter. And thanks for letting me pick the caption – this is gonna be great!”

Masaba made her acting debut with the Netflix original series Masaba Masaba. The show also featured her mother-actor Neena Gupta and Satyadeep. It is based on Masaba’s personal and professional life.
