Marengo Asia acquires 250 beds Gurugram multi-specialty hospital – ET HealthWorld

Marengo Asia Healthcare – the multispecialty hospital platform backed by Samara Capital, Havells Family Investment Office and Godrej Family Investment Office, on Tuesday said it has acquired Gurugram-based 250-beds W Pratiksha Hospital

The financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed.

W Pratiksha Hospital is a multi-specialty hospital situated in Sector 56 of Gurugram which is easily accessible to all parts of Gurugram and Delhi as well. The hospital is NABH certified and besides catering to the local population, also attracts international patients.

The acquisition helps Marengo to scale up to 800 hospital beds in Delhi NCR with presence in Gurugram and Faridabad. Marengo Asia Hospitals currently manages more than 1,500 beds across its network of 4 hospitals in Delhi NCR and Gujarat region.

“The acquisition of W Pratiksha Hospital further reinforces our commitment towards offering best medical facilities and treatments to the patients of Delhi NCR and its nearby areas. With the recent expansion of over 100 beds at this hospital facility, we will now be able to offer more sub-specialties and advanced treatments,” said Raajiv Singhal, managing director & group CEO, Marengo Asia Hospitals.

Marengo operates an existing 550 bed hospital in Faridabad. With approximately two and a half lakhs population traveling between Gurugram and Faridabad every day, the two Marengo Asia Hospitals will now serve as a nodal point to offer quality medical services to the local population.

Marengo was launched in October 2021 with Rs.450 crore investment in 330 beds CIMS Hospital, Ahmedabad, followed by adding 550 beds QRG Super Speciality Hospital based in Faridabad in November 2021. The company has entered into agreement to operate and manage KK Patel Super Speciality Hospital in Bhuj, Gujarat built Levua Patel Trust.
