Ambati Rayadu received a perfect send-off from the Indian Premier League as he got the chance to lift the IPL trophy with Chennai Super Kings, having announced his retirement from the league ahead of the final on May 29. In less than two month from that day, Rayudu will be back on the field to play for a different version of the Super Kings – the Texas Super Kings.

Co-owned by CSK, the Texas franchise of the MLC will also feature former CSK all-rounder Dwayne Bravo and current players of the reigning IPL champions, namely Mitchell Santner and Devon Conway. CSK coach Stephen Fleming will also be the coach of the Texas team, which will be led by another former CSK player, Faf du Plessis.

Eric Simmons and Albie Morkel will assist Fleming on the coaching desk.
David Miller and Daniel Sams add to the star power of the Texas Super Kings, who will open their campaign in the six-team league against the Los Angeles Knight Riders on July 14.
