‘MadeByGoogle’ event announced: Here’s when new Pixel phones and smartwatch will launch – Times of India
Google has announced the ‘MadeByGoogle’ event scheduled on October 6, where it will be unveiling the new Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro and Pixel Watch. However, this would not be the first time we see these devices. Google has already given a glimpse of the upcoming Pixel 7 and Pixel Watch at the I/O earlier this year.
The teaser shows off what has already been seen of the three devices. Google has already showcased the Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro and Pixel Watch, revealing the look of these three devices. Moreover, these three have already started to appear in people’s hands. So, there is not much we do not know about these three.

The Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro do not seem to bring any major design changes except the camera visor now being made of aluminium with separate cutouts for the camera. Further, the Pixel 7 will have two cameras, while the Pixel 7 Pro will come with three cameras. The front of the two smartphones is expected to be the same as their predecessors, having the same display panel as the last year’s Pixel models.
The Pixel 7 will come in Obsidian, Lemongrass, and Snow, while the Pixel 7 Pro will debut in Obsidian, Hazel, and Snow colourways.
Google has also revealed the name for the second-gen Tensor chip, which will be called the Tensor G2.
Meanwhile, the Pixel Watch, the first smartwatch from Google, is said to bring Fitbit’s health and fitness tracking features. Rumours are rife that the smartwatch would feature sensor heart rate, SpO2, and ECG monitoring. It may only last a single day on full charge, as per the rumours.
