Light novel series Classroom for Heroes gets anime adaptation with July premiere

The highly anticipated anime adaptation of Shin Araki’s Eiyū Kyōshitsu (Classroom for Heroes) light novel series has finally released its first promotional video, along with a new visual, revealing more staff members, theme song artists, and a July premiere date.

Actas, the studio behind anime series such as Girls und Panzer and Schoolgirl Strikers, is producing the anime with Keiichiro Kawaguchi, the director behind Sket Dance and Higurashi: When They Cry – GOU, at the helm. Meanwhile, Naoki Hayashi, the scriptwriter of Higurashi: When They Cry – GOU and Black Fox, is writing and supervising the scripts for the series.

The anime’s character designer and chief animation director is Kōsuke Kawamura, who previously worked on ISLAND and Remake Our Life! Fans can expect top-notch animation and a great storyline with such an experienced staff behind the production. Classroom for Heroes: New theme song artists

VTuber Kaede Higuchi is set to perform the anime’s opening theme song, while Akane Kumada is slated to perform the ending theme song. However, the anime’s website did not reveal the titles of the songs, leaving fans eager to hear them for the first time during the anime’s premiere.

About Classroom for Heroes

Eiyū Kyōshitsu takes place at Rosewood Academy, an institution that specializes in training upcoming heroes who are destined to safeguard humanity. The academy has strict admission standards, only accepting students with the greatest potential. Arnest Flaming, a student who holds the highest academic record in the school, is tasked with mentoring Blade, a cheerful and enigmatic new student whose abilities rival her own. The light novel series has been a hit since its debut in 2015 under Shueisha’s Dash X Bunko light novel label, with illustrations by Haruyuki Morisawa. The return of Araki

Shin Araki, the author of Eiyū Kyōshitsu, previously wrote the popular GJ Club light novel series, which had nine main volumes from 2010 to 2012 and a sequel middle school series that ran for eight main volumes from 2012 to 2014. The 2013 television anime adaptation of the novels was streamed by Crunchyroll during its broadcast in Japan.
