lenovo: Lenovo may be working on another dual-screen laptop – Times of India

0
It seems like Lenovo is working on a new 17-inch Lenovo ThinkBook Plus laptop which would have two screens, as per the claims of @evleaks on Twitter. If we go by the image shared on Twitter, there is a secondary screen put on the right side of the laptop keyboard, just where the number pad is usually there. There is a stylus also in the picture.

The purpose of putting a smaller, secondary screen could be to add support for drawing and sketching and adding handwritten notes, given that the stylus has been featured in the image. You can also see a drawing on the smaller screen which gives rise to the assumption that the laptop may be targeted towards content creators and artists. To fit in the secondary display, the laptop has been given a 17-inch size and it also helps include a full-sized trackpad in the chassis.
Lenovo had announced the ThinkBook Plus Gen 2, its first dual screen laptop at CES 2021 in January. The laptop had a secondary e-ink screen built into the lid, with a black-and-white 12-inch touchscreen. It had support for stylus too. So, this won’t be the first time Lenovo is making a laptop with a secondary screen. Which makes the leak more likely to be true. As for whether we are going to see the leaked new Lenovo laptop soon, we will have to wait to let the official announcement roll out, if there is going to be one.
