Lava: Lava Blaze 2 goes on sale via Amazon: Price, specs and more – Times of India

Domestic tech brand Lava recently expanded its budget smartphone portfolio with the launch of the new Blaze 2 in the market. This new smartphone features a punch-hole display and a glass-back design. This phone is backed with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Consumers can now buy the Lava Blaze 2 smartphone on the e-tailer site Amazon. The smartphone is likely to take on other budget smartphones like the Poco C55 and Infinix Hot 30i in the Indian market.
Rumours suggest that the company is also working on the Agni 2 smartphone. The upcoming Lava Agni 2 smartphone is expected to be priced under Rs 25,000 and may sport a 120Hz AMOLED display.
Lava Blaze 2: Price and availability
The Lava Blaze 2 affordable smartphone carries a price tag of Rs 8,999. The smartphone is available in three different colour options — Glass Black, Glass Blue, and Glass Orange. Buyers can purchase the Lava Blaze 2 smartphone either from the Amazon India website or from the company’s official website.

This new budget smartphone sports a 6.5-inch IPS LCD panel that supports an HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. Lava Blaze is powered by the Unisoc T616 chipset, coupled with 6 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128 GB of UFS storage. The smartphone also supports a microSD card slot for additional storage.

For optics, the Blaze 2 houses a dual rear camera setup which includes a 13MP primary camera and a 2MP depth sensor. The rear camera module also houses an LED flash, while the smartphone also features an 8MP front snapper for selfies and video calls.
Lava Blaze 2 also packs a 5,000mAh battery unit that supports 18W USB Type-C charging. For connectivity, the smartphone comes with a dual SIM slot, 4G VoLTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The smartphone also has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security and runs on Android 12 OS. This phone also comes with a feature that will allow users to record anonymous calls.
