As Cabernet Sauvignon prices in Napa Valley continue to rise, Lodi offers an economical alternative to both trade and consumers to purchase quality Cabernet Sauvignon. In fact, according to SipSource analysts Danny Brager and Dale Stratton, Cabernet Sauvignon within the $15-$25 price bracket accounts for over 10% of the wine category volume share and is seeing continual, consistent growth, which is also consistent with data from IRI (Information Resources, Inc.), which shows Cabernet Sauvignon’s overall volume growth from the past year.

Additionally, according to a recent survey from Drizly, “31% of respondents plan to reach for red wine as their go-to summer drink — an 8 percentage point increase from 2022.
