Khatron Ke Khiladi 11 premiere: Palak Tiwari reveals her mom Shweta Tiwari’s fears

Khatron Ke Khiladi 11 premiered on Saturday night and host Rohit Shetty kick-started the adventure show with a tiger by his side.

Khatron Ke Khiladi 11 will have Shweta Tiwari, Arjun Bijlani, Abhinav Shukla, Divyanka Tripathi, Vishal Aditya Singh, Sourabh Raaj Jain, Mahek Chahal, Anushka Sen, Sana Makbul, Nikki Tamboli, Varun Sood and singers Rahul Vaidya and Aastha Gill as contestants.

Speaking about the show, Rohit Shetty had told PTI recently, “It is not a normal show, it takes six months of my life. When you do a show like this, you need to be on your toes. It is not like a show where you come, sit and give comments. This show is tiring, we work for hours and months in advance to design stunts. It is mentally and physically challenging.”

The eleventh season of the popular show was filmed in Cape Town, South Africa, last month under strict Covid-19 safety protocols. Filmmaker Rohit Shetty returns to host the show for the seventh time.

10:00PM: Shweta Tiwari made her entry next and had a special message from her daughter, Palak Tiwari. Palak came on the video message and introduced Shweta before revealing that her mom, actor Shweta Tiwari is scared of darkness and lizards. She said, “All her fears have made our lives difficult. We sleep with all the lights switched on.”

9:45PM: The show began straight away with tasks. Divyanka Tripathi was asked to step over a small crocodile and as she was seen getting scared, Vishal Aditya Singh joked, “Divyanka ye bade wale sasurji hain, muh fula ke baithe hain (This is the elder father-in-law who is angry). She celebrated when she finally did it.

Rohit Shetty then said that Nikki Tamboli had told the show’s team that she is scared of butterflies. He then asked her to say ‘hi’ to a bunch of butterflies packed inside a glass box. Rohit tried his best for her to overcome but she kept crying each time she stepped closer to the box. However, she overcame her fear soon and kept her face in the box for some time.

9:30 PM: The show began with Rohit Shetty introducing the show’s concept and talking about the risks involved. Shweta Tiwari, Arjun Bijlani, Abhinav Shukla, Divyanka Tripathi, Vishal Aditya Singh, Sourabh Raaj Jain, Mahek Chahal, Anushka Sen, Sana Makbul, Nikki Tamboli, Varun Sood and singers Rahul Vaidya and Aastha Gill were then introduced as the contestants.

Rubina Dilaik also makes an appearance when we get to see her via Abhinav Shukla’s phone when he was on their video call.

Soon, the contestants reach the set in a jeep and Rohit threatens them with a ferocious tiger by his side.
