One of the screenshots showed that Kishore’s request to change his email ID was confirmed by Twitter. He also gave a glimpse of Twitter’s email to him. It read, “Hello, We received your appeal regarding your account. Please reply to this message and confirm that you have access to this email address.”
It also added, “Once we receive your confirmation, we’ll review the information you provided and will respond as soon as possible. We typically suspend accounts for violations of the Twitter Rules or Terms of Service. Additionally, repeat violations may result in permanent account suspension. Thanks.”
Sharing it, Kishore captioned the post on Instagram in Kannada and English, “Just to avoid unnecessary misconceptions about the suspension of my Twitter account. My Twitter account was not suspended because of any of my posts. I have come to know that it was because of hacking on December 20, 2022. Twitter has promised necessary action. Thanking everyone for their concern.”
Earlier, news agency PTI had reported citing the message displayed if a user were to search for the actor’s handle, “Account suspended. Twitter suspends accounts that violate the Twitter Rules.” He is known for being outspoken and sharing his views on social media.
Fans have seen Kishore in the web series She and The Family Man season one. He played the role of upright forest officer Muralidhar in last year’s hit Kannada film Kantara. Directed by Rishab Shetty, the film explores the possibility of the coexistence of faith and rationality, the conflict between nature and development, and other themes.
Set in the fictional village, Kantara follows a Kambala champion, also played by Rishab, who comes to loggerheads with an upright Forest Range officer, Muralidhar. The film has earned over ₹500 crore worldwide at the box office.
