Kajol rules Filmfare Awards red carpet in pantsuit and Ajay Devgn’s watch; Janhvi Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, Alaya glam up

Kajol grabbed attention on Thursday as she walked the red carpet in a pantsuit at the Filmfare Awards. She also credited husband Ajay Devgn and the trio of Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan as her inspiration behind the same. Sharing pictures of herself in the patterned shimmery black pantsuit, Kajol wrote on Instagram, “Decided to be my own hero today off the red carpet and on it! Inspiration from the all time red carpet heroes Ajay Devgn, Salman Khan, SRK, Aamir Khan. Do it like a woman. Credits:- Idea :- mine. Outfit :- Manish Malhotra. Execution :- Radhika Mehra. Watch :- my husbands (laughing emojis).”

A fan event commented on her post, “Who needs the Khans, when we have you?” Another commented, “Zoomed into that watch as it’s your husband’s and my favourite Ajay Devgn sir’s.” A fanpage wrote, “Brilliant idea! I can see how fabulous and comfortable you are in this! Totally love it. YOU ROCKKKKKKK @kajol.”

Other than Kajol, Janhvi Kapoor, Alaya F, Bhumi Pednekar and Rakul Preet Singh also made an impact with their stylish appearances on the red carpet. Bhumi arrived in a silver and white corset gown and also took away the Best Actress (Critics) award for her performance in Badhaai Do. The film also won the Best Film (Critics), Best Story, Best Actor in a Leading Role (Male) for Rajkummar Rao and Best Actor in a Supporting Role (Female) for Sheeba Chaddha at the event. A day before as well Bhumi had attended an awards event in a dramatic silver saree.

Janhvi arrived in a strapless purple gown. She completed her look with a diamond choker necklace and had her hair in soft curls. She also performed on stage at the event.

Alaya F too put up a glamorous appearance in a grey one-shoulder top and a skirt with a side slit. She also wore earcuffs and her tattoos at the back were also visible. She posted some pictures from her photo shoot in the co-ord set on Instagram. Rakul Preet Singh wore a blue gown with a thigh-high slit and a train and completed her look with a diamond necklace.
