JioCinema Premium plan launched: Price, what it offers, how to subscribe and more – Times of India

JioCinema now offers JioCinema Premium, a paid subscription service that allows users to access Hollywood content on the platform. The Premium tier costs Rs 999 annually.
JioCinema, which is the official streaming partner of the Tata IPL, is a subsidiary of Viacom18. Viacom18 has recently teamed up with Warner Bros. Discovery to offer content from HBO, Max Original, and Warner Bros. on its platform.
What JioCinema Premium offers

By subscribing to the JioCinema Premium tier, users get access to exclusive content from HBO, including their shows, original productions, Max Originals, documentaries, and upcoming films from Warner Bros. Additionally, JioCinema Premium also offers content previously available on Voot Select.
Currently, Tata IPL and a selection of Indian movies, such as the recent release Vikram Vedha, are streaming for free , although the platform may charge for them in the future.
With one subscription, users can watch on up to four devices at the same time. Further, the subscription entitles users to the highest video and audio quality.
How to subscribe to JioCinema Premium

1. To subscribe to JioCinema Premium, visit their website or app and select the ‘Subscribe’ option at the top of the screen.
2. Now, You will be directed to the subscription page, where you’ll see the Rs 999 plan.
3. To proceed, click ‘Continue and pay Rs 999’ and choose to pay via UPI or Credit and Debit cards.
4. Once you’ve made the payment, you can start streaming HBO shows and Warner Bros. movies.

Disney+Hotstar ended its licensing agreement with HBO, and soon after that, Reliance’s Viacom18 secured the rights to HBO and other Warner Bros. Viacom18 also outbid Hotstar for IPL streaming rights, making it free for viewers this year. The move is expected to bring a loss of 7 million paying users for Hostar by this year, while JioCinema gained around 10 million users in the first quarter.
