Reliance Jio started the beta trials for its True 5G services in October in six cities. The Reliance Jio users in Kolkata, Delhi, Varanasi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Nathdwara, Gurgaon, Nagpur, Siliguri, Chennai and Pune can experience 5G services in these cities.

Reliance Jio has also introduced a Jio Welcome offer for customers in Pune. The Jio users in Pune can now experience Unlimited Data at up to 1Gbps+ speed, at no additional costs. The company claims that with Jio True 5G, Jio users can experience speeds between 500 Mbps to 1 Gbps on their 5G-enabled smartphones.
“Post the launch of Jio True 5G in 12 cities, a large number of Jio users have enrolled on the Jio Welcome Offer thereby helping Jio with customer and service feedback to create what will be the most advanced 5G network anywhere in the world,” said the company.
