Jio True 5G launched in Northeast states: These 7 cities are getting 5G services – Times of India

Reliance Jio on Friday (January 27) launched 5G services in seven cities spread across six states in the North-East circle. With the launch, Jio True 5G services are now available in 191 cities. Jio users in these cities will be invited to the Jio Welcome Offer, to experience Unlimited Data at up to 1Gbps+ speeds, at no additional cost.
Jio 5G launched in seven new cities
The 5G services have been launched in Itanagar (Arunachal Pradesh), Imphal (Manipur), Shillong (Meghalaya), Aizawl (Mizoram), Kohima and Dimapur (Nagaland) and Agartala (Tripura).

The company said that the 5G rollout in the North-East circle “is testimony to Jio’s commitment towards the development of the circle.” The telecom giant also said that Jio True 5G services will be made available in every town and taluka of the North-Eastern states by December 2023.

Jio available in 191 cities
Jio True 5G has already reached 191 cities in less than 4 months of its beta launch. “Our engineers are working tirelessly to ensure that every Indian can experience the transformational power and exponential benefits of True-5G technology.
