Jio outage: Users unable to make and receive calls since morning – Smartprix

A majority of Jio customers have been left stranded due to the Jio network outage. Most Jio users cannot receive or make phone calls right now. One thing to be mentioned here is that the data services offered by Jio are working completely fine only the calling services are unable to get on track.

Following the same, many users have visited Twitter to share the problem. Some of them suggest that they have been unable to see the VoLTE sign on their smartphones since the morning. Most users have shown their disappointment due to the situation because they are not even able to receive calls from numbers of other telecom service providers.

As of now, the outage has been witnessed in some of the Tier One cities like Kolkata, Mumbai, and Delhi. At the time of practically testing the same, we were able to make calls and even receive calls from our Jio number in East Delhi. On the other hand, after having a word with an acquaintance, it was figured out that his Jio number was not working.

Moreover, the outage detection website named DownDetector shows a considerable spike in the number of user reports around the Reliance Jio outage. The issue reached its apex around 8:00 AM today in the morning. As mentioned previously, the data services are working completely fine. Until now, Jio has not published any statement regarding the outage. We will surely update the article as soon as we hear anything from Jio.
