Jio outage: Reliance Jio to offer two-days unlimited plans to the affected users – Times of India

Reliance Jio has announced to give two-days unlimited plans to users who were affected by the network outage yesterday. Jio service was affected in the states of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh on October 6.
To compensate for the inconvenience caused by the service outage, Jio is offering two-day complimentary plans to the affected users in both circles. The telco is sending out messages to the affected users. The message does not reveal details of the complimentary plan, but it is likely that it may offer unlimited mobile data for its users. The plan will kick off on affected Jio numbers post the expiry of their current active plan.
Here’s what the company said in its message
Dear Jio user,
Your service experience is our top priority.
Unfortunately, this morning, you and a few other customers in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh faced service disruption. Although our teams were able to resolve this network issue in a matter of hours, we understand that it wasn’t a pleasant service experience for you, and we truly apologise for that.
As a goodwill gesture, we are extending a 2-DAY COMPLIMENTARY UNLIMITED PLAN that will get applied to your number automatically tonight. The complimentary plan will become active post the expiry of your current active plan. We value you and your service experience on Jio.
