BTS fans were left nostalgic and emotional after Jimin danced to several of the group’s old songs. Taking to Instagram, the official account of BTS posted a new video in which Jimin danced to a medley of songs such as Run, Fire among others. The video started with Jimin dancing to I Need You which was released in 2015. Next, he grooved to Run, released in 2016, followed by Dope (2015) and Fire (2016). In the video, Jimin wore a black and brown sweater, brown pants, and sneakers. Jimin danced inside a room with glass walls.
The video ended with Jimin making a pose as he looked into the camera and smiled. The video was shared with the caption, “Jimmy’s irreplaceable dance line. Sunlight soft sunset background.” Reacting to the video, fans heaped praises and showered love on Jimin. A person commented, “OHHHH myyyy gwwwwaaaaadddd this is dope quite literally.”
Another fan said, “I love this so much I think we need moreeee like thiss?!?! Am I right girls?!?” “Your moves are crazy Jiminahhhh,” read a comment. “I swear all these songs makes me emotional cuz of the memories of being a baby army for me,” said an Instagram user.
Last month, Jimin collaborated with Big Bang member Taeyang’s new single named Vibe. The song debuted at No 1 on the Billboard Hot Trending Songs before it was even released. In 2022, Jimin collaborated with Ha Sung-woon for the song With You for the K-drama Our Blues. The BTS singer recently travelled to Paris after the French fashion house Dior made him a global brand ambassador.
Jimin is wrapping up his projects before joining the South Korean military for mandatory service. BTS’ eldest member Jin joined the military in December last year. All the other members are also scheduled to join the military and perform their duties for 18 months. As per a statement by BigHit Music, BTS’ agency, the members will reconvene as a group in 2025 following their service commitment. The group debuted in 2013 and has released several albums in the last decade.
