Jenny Swiatowy has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Creative Sync Licensing & Brand Partnerships for Capitol Music Group (CMG).

Swiatowy will report to CMG President & Chief Operating Officer Michelle Jubelirer.

In her new role, Swiatowy leads CMG’s in-house creative sync, sports marketing, and brand partnerships team.

She will expand its role within the company to generate and maximize revenue streams across CMG’s portfolio of labels: Capitol, Blue Note, Astralwerks, Capitol Christian Music Group, Harvest and Virgin Music Label & Artist Service, as well as Motown Records.

Swiatowy is based at the company’s Hollywood headquarters in the Capitol Tower.

Swiatowy joined CMG in 2014 as Director of Creative Sync Licensing and has grown the company’s sync revenues by double digits each year, says the company.

This included syncs for Lewis Capaldi, Katy Perry’s Smile campaign for Target, Niall Horan’s Finally Free as the end title for Smallfoot, Jonas Blue’s I See Love as the end title for Hotel Transylvania 3 and more.

Swiatowy also oversaw key syncs for Halsey, Maggie Rogers, Sam Smith, Fletcher, Zoe Wees, Cyn, DeathbyRomy and more.

Swiatowy has worked across soundtracks and releases that include To All The Boys: P.S. I Still Love You and its Always and Forever sequel.

Most recently, Swiatowy helped lead CMG’s initiative into the ever-growing children’s music space by partnering with Netflix for the animated kids’ film, Arlo the Alligator Boy, I Heart Arlo and Ridley Jones.

In the brand partnerships space, Swiatowy and her team secured numerous opportunities for CMG artists, including Pokémon 25: The Album, a compilation celebrating the brand’s 25th anniversary, which included six artists from the CMG roster.

Swiatowy rose to Senior Creative Director in 2015, before being promoted to her most recent position of Vice President, Head of Creative Sync Licensing in 2017.

From 2009 through 2014, Swiatowy held sync and licensing positions in music publishing at Bug Music and Warner Chappell Music.

She began her music career in 2005 in the music department of Creative Artists Agency, beginning her work in sync licensing at Universal Music Enterprises (UMe), the centralized U.S. catalog and special markets entity for UMG in 2006.
