A new variant of iQoo Z5 with a model number V2188A has recently surfaced on the TENAA certification. The listing reveals the key specifications of the upcoming iQoo Z5 model. We don’t know if this variant is the same iQoo Z5 variant with a 6000mAh battery, which is expected to launch in China on May 20. The iQoo Z5 made its debut in India last year.
As per the TENAA listing, the rumoured iQoo Z5 variant would feature a 6.58-inch TFT LCD panel with an FHD+ resolution. However, there is no word on its refresh rate. The variant that appeared on TENAA is powered by an octa-core chipset running at 3.0GHz, which is rumoured to be the Mediatek Dimensity 1300. The iQOO Z5 model might come with 12GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB/512GB of internal storage.
The listed variant of the iQoo Z5 has a 5,880mAh battery, which is close enough to the 6,000mAh battery of the previously leaked iQoo Z5 model, so there are slight chances that both the variants are the same. Further, the iQoo Z5 might come with support for 44W fast charging. The smartphone would be running iQoo UI on top of Android 12. It could measure 163.87×75.33×9.21mm and might weigh around 203g.
As for the optics, the upcoming iQoo Z5 variant might come with a dual-camera setup on the back. The rear camera setup comprises a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary unit.
There is no word if this variant of the iQOO Z5 will be launching in India or not. However, we can expect iQoo to refresh the current Z5 variant with this one in the future.
