iQOO has been working on its next iQOO 9 series of smartphones for the Indian market. Earlier there were reports that the company will bring the iQOO 8 Series to the Indian market but that could not happen due to chip shortage and now the latest news in line with our previous story states that the iQOO 9 series will come to India sometime in February or March.
The pricing for the iQOO 9 India Variant will be similar to the recently launched OnePlus 9RT and it is expected to come with Snapdragon 888+ chipset. Let us have a look at what we know so far.
iQOO 9 Series Expected Price
According to sources, the iQOO 9 will be priced between Rs. 42,000 to 45,000 in India, similar to the OnePlus 9RT that launched recently.

iQOO 9 Expected Specs
Speculations are rife that the iQOO 9 India variant will come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ chipset. The chipset in both pro and regular variants will be paired with an Intelligent display chip, LPDDR5 RAM, and UFS 3.1 storage along with up to 4GB extended/virtual RAM adaptability. The smartphone will run Android 12 based FunTouch OS 12 skin out of the box.
The Indian variant of iQOO 9 is said to feature a 6.5-inch 10-bit AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 1000Hz touch sampling rate. It will also have an under-display fingerprint scanner.
In the camera department, iQOO 9 is expected to sport a 48MP IMX598 main camera with Gimbal Stabilization support, a 13MP professional portrait lens, and a 13MP ultrawide angle camera.
The smartphone is said to be powered by a 4350mAh battery with 120W fast charging support. This claims full recharge in 18 minutes.
