The past few iPhone SE has been carrying on the dated bezel and button design of iPhone 8 series. However, things might change with the forthcoming iteration. The fourth-gen iPhone SE is said to sport a iPhone XR like design.

Apple could give a special redesign to the iPhone SE 4 as it is reportedly going to don an iPhone XR-like look. The juicy detail comes from Jon Prosser. In the recent Geared Up podcast episode, the YouTube and Apple leakster claimed that the upcoming iPhone Special Edition will have this facelift. He has also hinted when to expect the handset. Bummer, it isn’t going to be that soon though.

Well, this is news as we haven’t heard anything of the sort before. As per display supply chain consultant Ross Young, Apple’s fourth-gen ‌‌iPhone SE‌‌ could have a 5.7-inch display and could launch in 2023. He hasn’t said anything about the bezels and button situation. 

Just to recap, the iPhone XR came with a 6.1inch LCD panel, 12MP main camera, 4K60fps video recording, 2942 mAh battery, and A12 Bionic chipset, among many other things.

In related news, the iPhone 14 Pro from the upcoming flagship phones (that are likely to launch on September 7, 2022) is rumored to feature an improved ultrawide camera, with a 1.4μm pixel size and a “compact camera module”. It could theoretically offer better night mode ultrawide shots.
