  1. Go to the Start menu and search “restore”. Tap on the “Create a restore point“ option to open the System Properties window.

  4. Click “Create” to make a restore point. 
  5. Give a description of the restore point for identification.
  6. Click on the “Create” button to automatically start the restore point creation.

  1. Again, go to the Start menu, search for “restore”, and click on “Create a restore point” to open System Properties. 
  2. Tab the button saying “System Restore”.
  3. Click the “Next” button on the new System Restore window.
  4. You will see the name of your created restore point with the date and time. Choose it and tap on “Next”.
  5. Tap on the “Finish” button. It will restart your Windows 11 for the System Restore process.

How to run the System Restore process from Advanced Boot options

There are times when your PC won’t boot up on its own when you choose to start System Restore. In that case, you have to restore your Windows 11 PC from the boot menu. Here is how to do it.

  1. Restart your PC and as soon as the Windows loading sign appears, continuously press F2 or F8 and F12 to open the Startup recovery.
  2. Click on “Troubleshoot” among the shown options and then go to “Advanced options“. 
  3. Find and click on “System Restore”. 
  4. A new window with the name “Restore system files and settings” will open. Click on the “Next” button. 
  5. Select your restore point name and click on “Next”.
  6. You are all done after clicking on the “Finish” button.
