Honor has officially confirmed the launch date of the upcoming Magic 5 series and Magic Vs foldable. The launch event is scheduled to take place on February 27 during the MWC event. The event will begin at 13:30 CET and will also be live streamed for the interested viewers.

Honor Magic 5: Expected features
Honor Magic 5 series is expected to sport a 6.8-inch OLED LPTO panel with HDR10+ and up to 1100 nits of brightness. The display is likely to offer 1Hz-120Hz refresh rate, 2160Hz PWM dimming, 480Hz touch sampling rate. As mentioned above, the trio is rumoured to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, paired with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 5.0 storage.
The base model– Honor Magic 5 is said to be backed by a 5,000mAh battery with 66W fast charging support. Whereas, the other two phones are expected to pack a 4800mAh battery with 50W wired and wireless charging support. All the three Honor smartphones are said to run Magic UI 7.0 based on Android 13 operating system.
Honor Magic Vs: Expected features
The foldable Honor Magic Vs is already available for purchase in China. The smartphone is expected to debut with gearless hinge, crafted with single-piece casting technology. The screen has a 7.9-inch internal foldable OLED display that offers a 2272 x 1984 pixels resolution. The display is likely to come with 90Hz refresh rate, and 800 nits peak brightness.
