Himesh Reshammiya’s old photo with Alka Yagnik surfaces online, fans think he is ageing backwards
An old picture of composer-singer Himesh Reshammiya posing with singer Alka Yagnik has surfaced online. He is seen wearing a checked shirt and trousers, while she is dressed in an orange salwar kameez.
Fans reacted to Himesh Reshammiya’s throwback photo with Alka Yagnik, with many of them remarking that he appeared to be ageing backwards. “Time ke sath inki umar kam ho rahi hai (He is getting younger with time),” one commented. “The age and composition level of our legendary HR both is going down,” another said.
Some fans even praised Himesh’s new song, the Surroor 2021 title track. “Love him, absolutely love that he came up with this track,” one wrote, while another remarked that he was ‘back with a bang’.
Last week, Himesh dropped the first song of his third studio album, Surroor 2021. According to the video of the title track, he is ‘back in OG style’. His earlier two albums were Aap Kaa Surroor (2006) and Aap Se Mausiiquii (2016).
The Surroor 2021 title track has already crossed 33 million views on YouTube, and people are divided in their opinions of the song. While some declared that ‘Himesh is back’, others have criticised it.
