How To Make Protein-Packed Chana Dal Pulao:

  1. Pour oil into a pressure cooker and add cumin, cinnamon and black pepper.
  2. Add whole red chilli, crushed ginger-garlic, and onion and fry.
  3. Add tomatoes, turmeric, coriander powder, salt and cook.
  4. Add a bowl of soaked rice and chana dal to it.
  5. Mix everything well and add water to it.
  6. Cook for 2-3 whistles and your protein-rich chana dal pulao is ready to be relished.
  7. Serve with some dahi and achar by the side.
