Here’s what the iPhone 14 Pro may replace that notch on the screen with – Times of India

Tech leaker Ice universe (@Universeice) is ready with a new prediction when it comes to the iPhone 14 Pro. On Twitter, the tipster shared an image of what he claims to be the screen protector of the iPhone 14 Pro model. In the image, one can clearly see that instead of having a notch, the screen protector comes with two separate cutouts at the top, one circular shaped and the other oval shaped (or “pill-shaped” for some), the circular one placed on the right side of the oval one. If we go by this design, Apple’s layout will place the front camera on the right side of the earpiece. Both the holes are present right in the centre at the top. The screen protector also has a very thin space dedicated for bezels. Take a look.

There is still time before the announcement of the next iPhone and the claim is one of many about the new iPhones, especially the iPhone 14 Pro model, that have started trickling in.
An earlier report by 9To5Mac also hinted at what the much-rumoured always-on display of the iPhone 14 Pro may look like. According to the report, a few references to the upcoming mode have been found in iOS 16 wallpapers. The new iOS 16 wallpapers are not static images but instead, are “multi-layered vectors rendered in real time”, says the report.

“Now, in addition to the regular vectors, the native wallpapers (such as the default one and the recently added clown fish wallpaper) also have a new state labeled “Sleep,” which has very dark and faded elements. Wallpapers in this state are quite similar to the Apple Watch faces with always-on enabled. Once the user turns off the screen of the iPhone 14 Pro, the wallpaper will switch to the “Sleep” version.”, adds the report.
