Table etiquette can either make or break your dining experience. Be it a date or a client dinner, proper etiquette can steal the spotlight. Although common sense is often the best guide, we tend to make certain mistakes, unknowingly. From how to place a fork and knife to the usage of cutlery – everything falls under table etiquette. Well, it doesn’t end here. The look of your table, when you are done, also leaves an impression. You must have seen people leaving a good portion of food on their plates or an untidy table. Relatable, did we hear? And, one of the common sights is the way people dispose of dirty tissues. You might not know but tissue etiquette is also a thing. In her latest Instagram video, Chef Pankaj has asked her followers whether or not they have been placing their dirty tissue correctly in the restaurant? Then, the master chef highlights the three common places where people leave the used tissues.  People tend to drop used tissue on the dinner plate, which, of course, is not the right practice. And, if you are among those who dip tissues in a glass of water, then you are wrong too. So what about those who throw it on the floor? That too is a wrong approach.

So what to do then? No points for guessing. It is quite simple. Just place the used tissues on the bead plate, which is always parked on your left.

Do remember this one on your next restaurant visit and earn brownie points.
